 What is it?

A natural soft clay mineral which has been used for hundreds of years in skincare, porcelain and medical treatments. Also called “China Clay” it is very fine and gentle on your skin and is renowned for its absorbing and soothing qualities.

It is blended with essential oils and vitamins to help tighten, cleanse, exfoliate and reduce any shine.

How does it work?

Clay is a hero ingredient in many face masks, helping to remove impurities and absorb excess sebum, leaving oily skin feeling smooth and dry. Similar to thermal muds, it promotes mineralisation of your skin and stimulates cell renewal.

The chemical and physical properties make Kaolin an outstanding detoxifier, cleanser and treatment for oily, acne prone skin.

Kaolin contains high levels of silica which acts as a cleansing agent, by exfoliating dead cells and allowing the regeneration of new ones.

It’s mild and gentle nature suit even the most sensitive skin types and when used in a mask increases blood circulation as it dries on our skin.

Kaolin purifies skin through absorbing dirt and toxins and can remove black and white heads.

It is a great way to diminish excess oil on your skin and is the ultimate natural formula for acne prone skin.

Kaolin masks should be used no more than twice a week to balance sebum production and allow your new skin cells to glow at the surface.

Its anti-inflammatory and soothing properties can help calm redness and puffiness around spots.
